Many times, balance transfers don't have a grace period.
The new credit card may have a "zero" interest rate on new purchases, but it may not apply that rate to your balance transfer!

Oh, we forgot to tell you that most credit card companies charge you a "transaction fee" to make a balance transfer.
So, why should I know about "balance transfers" right now?
